Important
Some users have encountered difficulty sending out emails even though
they are able to receive emails without any problem. This is caused by
a bug in Entourage which causes it not to be able to authenticate the
SMTP server as required.
To solve this problem, you can try using the SMTP server provided by
your ISP. Most ISP do not require you to authenticate when sending out
an email.
Below are a list of Singapore's ISP SMTP server. Choose the one belonging
to your ISP.
| Singnet/Magix: |
mail.singnet.com |
| Pacific Internet : |
smtp.pacific.net |
| Qala Singapore: |
smtp.qala.com.sg |
| Clear Data Voice: |
mail.cleardatavoice.com |
- To do this, go back to Step 11. In the SMTP server field, type in
the SMTP server of your ISP.
- Click on Click here for advanced sending options
- Uncheck the box next to SMTP server
requires authentication.
